- Attractive and original thanks to the evolution of its foliage - Lovely, compact and bushy - A hardy and sturdy plant, needing very little maintenance - Magnificent red and fiery orange leaves in autumn - To be planted in containers and small spaces.! Flamissimo® is from a breeding programme aiming to offer more colourful and bushy Cotinus. The development of foliage makes this shrub attractive and novel : purple green turning red and orange in autumn. In June-July, fluffy smoke like purple flowers appear, staying attractive untill September. This plant needs very little pruning, and is largely superior to the Cotinus ‘FLAME’. Adapts well to droughts and is ideal in containers, rock gardens, flowerbeds and hedges.
