This variety interests me
The ‘Miniredia’ is very formal and perfect in containers, alone or in flowerbeds and borders, bringing a touch of modernity to gardens ! Luminous in spring and resistant to diseases and pollution, ‘Miniredia’ can grow to 0.9 metres in height and width, after 8 to 10 years ! The young orangey-red shoots make the ‘Miniredia’ very attractive and ornamental in the spring ! An exceptional new variety created in the Anjou region of France, and selected by Formidable Plant Breeders in 2012.! The Prunus laurocerasus ‘Miniredia’ was created in France and selected by Formidable Plant Breeders in 2012. Bred from a Prunus laurocerasus ‘Caucasia Nana’, giving it a compact and dwarf habit. The leaves are larger, thicker and a darker green than those of the Prunus l. Etna, Prunus l. Ani® and the Prunus l. Titan®. The young orangey-red shoots are an added value to this incomparable Prunus, especially in the spring and after pruning. It needs very little maintenance or pruning, a good watering will be sufficient after a long cold period. The ‘Miniredia’ can be grown on stem/as a standard or half standord. Adapts well to growing in isolation, formed as a small hedge, as a topiairy in an ornamental garden and will also be an excellent substitute to Box.
