Golden lance-shaped leaves, decorative and bright. In spring the lovely catkins add to the display. The growth habit is bushy, and ever despite rapid growth. The golden leaves will nevertheless appreciate the sun and have a good resistance to very high temperatures. An easy plant to maintain with a good resistance to diseases, nedding only formative pruning at the end of winter. Plant in a cool and rich soil, isolated or in hedges, in association with bright coloured shrubs to create a contrast. The ‘Golden Sunshine’ cov Willow is of japanese breeding, created by Izumi Takuya, offering bright golden foliage all through the spring season. In the autumn, leaves become yellow-green. Good resistance to diseases and summer drought. This Willow will adapt well, isolated in clusters or associated with other shrubs in hedges.
