This variety interests me
The first venusta with contrasting blue and white flowers! A plant with magnificent ornamental leaves and producing numerous hardy branches. A vigorous climbing plant, appreciating sunny exposures, against a wall, on a pergola, over a porch or arbour. Easily pruned for planting in containers or small gardens but can also be formed into a small standard tree. An exceptional new range, created in Anjou region of France, selected from 3000 seedlings by FPB ! This exceptional range was conceived in France in 2007 by Formidable Plant Breeders. There are 4 varieties, each named after a worldwide famous Diva : Barbara Hendrix, Nathalie Dessay, Maria Callas and Cécilia Bartoli. This range of Wisteria, of innovative and original genetics, is promised a great international career. They already appear in the collection of Wisley RHS Gardens in the United Kingdom, are ready to be launched in the United States and have caught the attention of experts of Japanese Wisteria. The GRANDE DIVA Wisteria are long lived, up to 100 years, and are differentiated by the abundancy of perfumed flowers. They adapt well to terraces in suitable conditions, as well as against walls, pergolas, flowering arches, trained trellis or in very large pots.
